Instructor BIO

Tibyan El Fateh is a Sudanese filmmaker, video editor, and videographer currently residing in Egypt. She has a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Mass Media.Tibyan spent two academic years as a Teaching Assistant before transitioning to a full-time career as a video editor and videographer. Her film, The Reminiscence of Port Said, was selected for screening at the Milano Design Film Festival.Tibyan’s skills were further honed through her participation in a Netflix-supported workshop as well.

Pricing

  • The entire workshop costs 3000 EGP. A very cheap price in exchange for kicking off your career and what might be your way to financial freedom through freelance/project-based work.  

  • You don’t have to pay the full amount to secure your spot. A refundable 1000 EGP will be sufficient.

Who is this workshop for? 

This workshop is designed for anyone aged 16-30 who wants to kickstart a career in video editing. No prior experience is needed—just bring your passion and willingness to learn!

Do I need to have studied Video Editing before? 

No. Tibyan is going to walk you through the basics and the fundamentals knowing very well that this is your very first interaction ever with video editing.

What will I need to bring to the workshop? 

Bring your laptop with Adobe Premiere Pro installed.  Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with the tools, Tibyan will guide you through everything step by step.

Am I going to receive a certificate? 

Yes, you will be receiving a certificate of completion by the end of the workshop to showcase your newly acquired skills and participation in the workshop.

Will I have access to the instructor and/or my fellow participants? 

Yes, for sure. You will automatically join a community of video editors (all at the same phase), so you can exchange experiences and connections. All future graduates of the workshop will be joining the community month in & month out meaning that you will have access to more and more as days go by.

What are the fees for the workshop? 

The fees are 3000 EGP (Totally refundable 3 days before the starting date of the workshop).

Will I be able to complete a full project on my own by the end of the workshop? 

Absolutely! By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a fully edited video that you can include in your portfolio or share with potential clients.
